About the Role
The Team is a rapid growth business that is responsible for bringing ESG products to multi-national corporations and financial institutions. Our services include green/social/sustainability bond second-party opinions, annual compliance reviews, and other services that provide the independent assessment our clients need to raise capital for green and social impactful projects. This successful business unit is surpassing sales forecasts and has been recognized as “external assessment provider of the year” by Environmental Finance Capital for the past three years. Job Responsibilities
? Support the execution of green/social/sustainability bond Second-Party Opinions. This requires working on multiple projects
? Over time, engage with issuers and underwriters regarding the assessment of their bond/loan Framework

Qualifications
? Strong ability to critically analyze client frameworks (e.g. Green Bond Framework) and assess them in light of market expectation and industry standards
? Strong research skills and ability to synthesize external data and insights
? Excellent business writing skills (both in English and Japanese)
? Passion for sustainability and demonstrated interest in sustainable finance and green bonds
? 3-5 years of related work experience
? Degree in related discipline (business, finance, environment, engineering and/or social sciences)
? Client-centric and commercial approach
? Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn in a constantly evolving and fast-paced environment
? Alignment with Sustainalytics’ mission, vision, and values
? Positive attitude, innovative, and entrepreneurial
